WATER DAMAGE RESTORATION

Water Damage Restoration

ServiceMaster Recovery by The Experts Restoration specializes in water damage restoration and flood recovery services. If a pipe bursts, a fire sprinkler is triggered, or the roof leaks, the resulting damage can occur very quickly and may continue for as long as the problem is left unresolved.

Our technicians are experts and well trained in water damage extraction. We use the latest industry extraction equipment and state-of-the-art technology to evaluate the best methods to dry structures and contents.

After assessing the situation, we work fast to remove large quantities of water, odors, and mold spores that can potentially create long-term health problems. Our infrared cameras can detect seemingly invisible problems, like moisture behind walls. Our crews have the equipment and ability to dry out large homes, crawl spaces, multi-unit apartments, office buildings, hospitals, warehouses, and more. We act quickly to control the problem and reduce the damage along with any resulting issues. We also offer carpet cleanup, water extraction, and furniture reupholstering to repair damaged possessions.

Gear We Use in Flood Damage

  • Thermo Hygrometers

  • Low-Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifiers (LGR)

  • Desiccants

  • Air Movers

  • Moisture Meters

  • Hammer Probes

  • Thermal Imaging (Infrared) Cameras

Negative Air Machines

Following a flood, one of the greatest dangers is breathing in contaminants that were stirred up by the water. Luckily, technological advances have brought us negative air machines, which work by creating negative air pressure. This process allows scrubbers to decontaminate the air, removing mold spores, dust, odors, and other particles.

After using the negative air machines, we utilize dehumidifiers and air movers to completely eliminate water from your carpets, furniture, and air. Thanks to the newest water drying restoration equipment, leaving a flooded house free of water damage is a reality.

Water Extraction

Typically, the first step is to turn off the power to your building to prevent electrocution. Then, call a flood restoration team to begin with water extraction. Water extraction should be handled by trained professionals because the floodwater could contain harmful materials, such as sewage, bacteria, and fecal matter.

ServiceMaster Recovery by C2C Restoration provides water extraction, using top of the line restoration equipment, powered by our generators for safety. A pump will remove the water from your building, so that the flood restoration can begin.

FIRE DAMAGE RESTORATION

Fire Damage Restoration

When fire strikes, it can be devastating. ServiceMaster Recovery by The Experts Restoration works quickly to restore your apartment, home, or business to its pre-loss condition. Our fire damage restoration services include board up, roof tarping, off-site contents storage, smoke damage cleaning, and deodorization of affected contents. Clothing and draperies may also be laundered or dry cleaned if necessary.

The process begins with our first meeting with you and your adjuster to discuss how to best accomplish your restoration situation. For example, is the best option for items restoration, repair, or replacement? If necessary, we will pack out and move your possessions to our safe and secure off-site location. At our facility, we can begin cleaning, restoring, and deodorizing  the damaged items and store the rest of your possessions safely during the structural restoration.

During the entire process, we communicate with you, your adjuster, and agent to be sure that everything progresses as agreed, with no surprises, to ensure your ultimate satisfaction.

Smoke Cleaning

Our crews are trained and certified to clean items damaged by smoke and soot. Smoke and soot may combine with humidity and moisture to create significant secondary damage from corrosive residue.

Smoke cleaning and restoration of your structure and contents may also be necessary in the event of a small, non-destructive fire such as a kitchen fire. In these cases, the most harm can be done by smoke and soot from the fire. Residual smoke and soot can etch household items, making restoration very difficult. That is why it is extremely important to address these situations as soon as possible to minimize potential secondary damage.

MOLD REMEDIATION

Mold Remediation

Mold is a common issue and concern for residents and business owners. Mold is also resilient; needing only moisture, warmth, and organic materials to thrive, colonies can quickly take root in your home or business. There are thousands of different species of mold, over a hundred of which have been proven to be toxic to humans.

Killing mold or drying it out is not enough to eliminate risk. Mold must be handled by professionals who can ensure its proper removal and complete eradication, as even dead mold can cause illness. If mold is detected on your property, it’s important to have it removed quickly in order to limit the risk to residents or employees, especially those with breathing disorders or allergies.

Whether the mold is visible or not, ServiceMaster Recovery by The Experts Restoration employs certified mold remediation technicians who are able to take control and provide expert mold remediation.

We use state-of-the-art technology and equipment such as:

  • Thermal imaging (infrared)

  • Dry ice blasting

  • Mold removal

  • Air scrubbers (neg-air)

  • Dehumidifiers

Our trained and experienced technicians utilize proven techniques to contain and remove all traces of mold on your property. We also protect non-contaminated areas by utilizing appropriate air movement methods to prevent the spread of mold spores. Finally, after the mold is completely removed, we will seal the surface to prevent further colonies from forming.
